To honor that impulse, why not hop on the rewind machine to reminisce about some past Orioles and see how they're faring in their new homes? This is not a complete list and does not include players who have spent time in the O's minor league system without making it to the majors with organization. Therefore, in this article you will not be reminded of how good Mike Yastrzemski was. Well, unless you were a little.

The most prominent of these players is Adam Jones. The former Orioles midfielder was the face of the franchise for a decade. As it is, most fans would likely be happy with the Orioles' starting rotation in 2021. But the current version ofdylan bundywould do better His recent start botched a string of starts that landed him on the Cy Young thread. Still, his 3.12 ERA and 69 strikeouts in 60.2 innings for theanjosit was impressive
Elsewhere in Californiakevin gausmanhe found his groove with the Giants. His strike rate is a ludicrous 11.62, his career high. The former fourth overall winner of the O's will have a free hand this winter and could be in line for a nice payday.
Two guys who have struggled a bit in 2020 arejake arrietay Wade Miley.Arrieta, the former Cy Young Award winner with thedogsHe is now in his third season as a member.Philadelphia, but appears to have his back in an Orioles uniform due to his 5.08 ERA. Miley is currently suffering from a shoulder injury but has nine earned runs in just 12.1 innings.

One player who could have made some money in this abbreviated season is Jonathan Schoop. Bouncing back from a disappointing couple of seasons, he rolled a 114 wRC+ along with a field-improved 2.4 UZR.
A guy who has already received and plays like him is Manny Machado. It was fantastic for the excitingCountry. Machado is hitting .314/.376/.604 with 16 home runs and a 155 wRC+. He will receive and deserve serious MVP consideration.

Mychal Givenshe has one more season to prove himself. But it hasn't happened yet. In seven innings with the Rockies, the forward allowed six earned runs and hit just four batters.
Similar,miguel castrohe fought with the Mets. His 5.21 xFIP is not ideal, but he did maintain a healthy 12.15 K/9.

Sometimes it can be hard to read a list of accomplishments that former players have with different franchises. But this season things are looking a little better. Because? Well, much of this can be attributed to the Orioles' front office. There's a plan, and the fruits of that labor are starting to show on the big league stage. As long as it stays that way, the organization should be able to keep or make the most of the talent that comes through their farm, rather than reading about their accomplishments in a different uniform years later.
